BIO
Scholis grew up in Monterey, California. Her father was a painter who served as her first influence. She studied Drawing, Painting, and Art History with Enrique Chagoya, Mel Ramos and Dr. Mark Levy at CSUEB graduating with honors in 1993. Her education includes Advanced Painting courses with Prof. Hawkinson, Stanford University and Prof. Donald Feasel, San Jose State University. She has a CA Teaching Credential from Chapman University and BA, Studio Arts, California State University Eat Bay. She currently resides in Seaside, CA where she dedicates herself to painting and leading Art for Personal Growth workshops.
